How to Connect Your Custom Domain

Learn how to point your branded .com, .ng, or .com.ng address to your Realtors.ng website.

Default vs. Custom Domain

Your account is immediately active at your selected subdomain (e.g. youragency.rlt.ng). Connecting a custom domain replaces this URL with your unique brand domain (e.g. youragency.com) while keeping all listing links working seamlessly.

Option A

Custom Domain Service (Recommended)

If you selected the Custom Domain Add-on (NGN 50,000/yr), our engineering team handles domain registration, DNS management, and yearly automated SSL renewals for you.

  1. Send your preferred domain name (e.g. primeproperties.com) to hi@rlt.ng or via WhatsApp support.
  2. Our team checks availability, secures the registration, and links it directly to your tenant store.
  3. Your custom domain goes live with full HTTPS encryption within 2 to 4 hours.
Option B

Self-Managed DNS Configuration

If you already own your domain through Namecheap, GoDaddy, Whogohost, or Cloudflare, configure these two DNS records in your domain registrar's DNS management console:

Access Your DNS Zone Editor

Log in to your registrar portal where you purchased your domain, navigate to Domain Management, and open DNS Records / Zone Management.

Add the A Record and CNAME

Add the root A record pointing to the server IP and the CNAME pointing www to your Realtors.ng subdomain.

Notify Technical Support to Bind SSL

Once records are set, notify us on WhatsApp or at hi@rlt.ng so our server provisions your free SSL certificate.
